Welcome

The Stick of Joseph

The Plates of Brass preserve ancient Israelite scriptures and prophetic writings carried by Lehi’s family from Jerusalem into the Americas. The Book of Mormon stands as another testament of Jesus Christ, bearing witness of His ministry, His covenant with Israel, and His invitation to all people to come unto Him. Together, these records fulfill the prophetic image found in Ezekiel of the Stick of Judah and the Stick of Joseph becoming one in God’s hand, symbolizing the unity of divine witness and the gathering of God’s covenant people.

The Universal Book of Mormon

This version of the Book of Mormon was created to help any transitioning between Latter Day Saint or Mormon denominations. The goal is to make accessing this book of scripture, with the different chaptering, versing, and sections, easier to navigate. The Book of Mormon is a sacred text for the Latter Day Saint movement. It was first published in March 1830 by Joseph Smith as “The Book of Mormon: An Account Written by the Hand of Mormon upon Plates Taken from the Plates of Nephi.” We have added “The Fullness of the Gospel, The New Covenant of Jesus Christ” to the title. It is our prayer that this edition will help unify the Saints that Israel may gather, and Zion be established.

The Plates of Brass, Volume I:

The Torah of Moses

The modern translation of these records is understood within the Fellowship as part of the continuing Restoration. Rather than claiming that God’s voice ceased with the closing of the biblical canon, the Restoration affirms that God continues to speak, teach, and invite His children to seek Him. From this perspective, the Plates of Brass represent another opportunity to rediscover ancient truths that point people toward Jesus Christ and encourage a deeper life of discipleship.

The Book of the Law of the Lord

1851 Edition (A.R. I.)

This volume presents a modern reprint of the original 1851 edition (A. R. I.) of The Book of the Law of the Lord, first published under the direction of James J. Strang, prophet The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the successor of Joseph Smith Jr. This early edition consists primarily of what were presented as inspired translations of select portions of the Law given to Moses, accompanied by a small number of additional commandments, with only brief notes and references. It represents the earliest and most concise form of the text, prior to the significant expansions and extensive commentary added in the later 1856 edition (A. R. VI.).

Available in paperback ($19.99), and PDF (free)
