Welcome

The Stick of Judah

The Stick of Judah consists of the Holy Bible, which includes the Apocrypha.  The Bible teaches the language of covenant, creation, redemption, priesthood, temple, Zion, resurrection, and the Kingdom of God. The Apocrypha enriches that story by preserving important history, wisdom, prayers, and devotional writings from the centuries between the Old and New Testaments. These records provide the foundation upon which every Restoration tradition is built.

The Stick of Judah (Holy Bible)

The Holy Bible is the foundation of the Restoration and the source from which later scripture draws its language, symbols, and teachings. Jesus taught from it, the Apostles preached from it, and the Book of Mormon continually points back to it. We invite every Latter Day Saint to read this free, public-domain edition of the World English Bible with fresh eyes, prayerfully seeking God’s voice. As you deepen your understanding of the Bible, you will also gain a richer appreciation for the Book of Mormon, the Restoration, the temple, and the ongoing work of Jesus Christ.

Due to the size of the Bible and the 800-page limit at Lulu, we have published this in multiple volumes. The entire book is available as a free PDF. Available in paperback (Volume 1 $18.95, Volume II $27.95, Volume III $21.95, Volume IV $21.95, Volume V $19.95, Volume VI $21.95) and as a PDF (free).

The Book of Enoch

The Book of Enoch, or 1 Enoch, is an ancient religious work that was once a part of the Jewish and Christian canons. Enoch was the great-grandfather of Noah. The current known Book of Enoch contains a number of unique ideas on nephilim, angels falling from heaven, and an explanation on the need for the Great Flood. It also predicts the thousand-year reign of the Messiah. Scholars place different parts of the text as being written as early as 300 BC and the oldest parts around the first century AD. Thus, they claim this is a book that was added to over the years, just as many scholars state on the dates of much of the canonized Bible.

  • The Book of the Watchers
  • The Book of Parables of Enoch
  • The Book of Celestial Luminaries
  • The Epistle of Enoch
  • Extract from the Prophecy of Enoch
  • Appendix to the Book of Enoch

Available in paperback ($11.95) and PDF (free)
